Julia Brassalotto-39

Dr. Julia Brassolotto is an Associate Professor of Public Health in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lethbridge. For 7 years, she held an Alberta Innovates – New Investigator Research Chair in Healthy Futures and Well-being in Rural Settings. Her research program looks at care for older adults, with a focus on continuing care, community, and end-of-life contexts. She completed her doctorate and post-doctoral fellowship at York University in the Health Policy & Equity program.

Broadly, her research interests include: continuing care, older adults, death and dying, rural health, political economy, social determinants of health, and health care ethics.
